Tonight was our 9th annual lawn bowls event!

Thank all of you who attended tonight. Your participation made the event a success, and it was great to see everyone having such a good time.

It was wonderful to see so many people come together for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and friendly competition. I hope you all enjoyed the event as much as we did, and that you made some new connections while you were there.

 

Let’s talk about equity.

International Women’s Day is a chance to celebrate, to reflect and to reaffirm an ongoing commitment to achieving equality within the workplace. Equality in the workplace requires equitable actions tailored to each individual to create a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Embracing the theme of IWD23 “Embrace Equity”, YTP hosted an in-person Q&A where we heard from Jasmine Chen, Lucille Gusah and Lisa Hogben on the importance of creating a diverse, equal and inclusive workforce where everyone feels valued.

During the IWD Q&A event this morning facilitated by Hui (Evelyn) Tao and Caitlin Skinner, members had the privilege of hearing from amazing speakers, including Jasmine Chen, Lucille Gusah and Lisa Hogben. We thank them for sharing your experiences and advice on the journey to equality both in your personal and professional lives.
